About

Most of Albany has never pulled in.

People drive past for years and see a lawn and a hedge. Inside there is a mausoleum, a chapel, a pond, and room for families who have been here for generations.

Five things worth knowing.

These are the things families tell us they wish they had known before they called somewhere else first.

1 of 5

Who runs it

A volunteer board of people who live around here. Not a corporation, and not owned by anyone out of town. When you call, you get a person who can actually answer the question. Founding year, and the legal entity name

The mausoleum

Indoor crypts and glass-front niches, open year round, heated in winter and cool in summer. Only mausoleum of its kind in Linn County: verify before publishing Recent work includes a new roof, new ceilings, and all new LED lighting, so it looks better now than it has in decades.

The grounds

A pond, mature trees, and named sections including Peace, Rose, Sunset, Arbor and Dawn. Ground graves, outdoor niches in the columbarium by the water, and benches. Total acreage, and every section name

What you can get here directly

Urns and headstones can be bought at the park. The chapel seats about 40 and anyone can book it, whether or not your family is placed here. Most people do not know any of that, and they find out after they have already bought elsewhere.

What we do not do

We do not offer payment plans, and a space is paid in full before any burial or placement. We will hold a space three to six months with no deposit while you decide. We would rather tell you that up front than surprise you later.

A bench under fallen leaves

A place the whole family can come back to.

When ashes stay at one home, everyone else has to ask to visit. If that home changes, so does everything else. Here, the whole family can come by on their own schedule.

History: who founded the park, when the chapel and mausoleum were built, and what the board wants told

Glass-front niches inside

Nobody believes it until they walk in.

The mausoleum is the part people do not expect. Come and look, any day the gates are open, and decide afterwards.
